KING OF CONCRETE 2023

King of Concrete was founded in 1988 and held at Southsea Skatepark. It emerged as a progressive development from the King of the Skateparks competition, featuring bowls, flatland, and quarterpipes. it quickly became the go to competition of the 80s and 90s a true celebration of BMX, celebrating the true spirit of BMX, and not only putting pros on display but also inspiring the next generation of riders.

Today, King of Concrete stands as a proud tradition that continues to encourage the next generation of riders. Evolving with the times, we now have Vert, Park, Street and the highest bunny hop disciplines, we will have DJs all day and an after-party on Saturday night.

As King of Concrete enters a new era, we remain committed to preserving the legacy of grassroots BMX and ensuring that the fun and excitement of the sport are enjoyed by generations to come.
